Me.jpg

Hi, I’m Evangeline.

And I love words.

I’m a Community Development Coordinator where I spend most of my time researching and writing grants. As a constant future thinker, I find it challenging and exciting to explore, plan, and strategize new programs, fundraising opportunities, and community collaborations.

My educational background in communications, writing, and editing, combined with my eight years of facilitating The Malden Writers’ Collaborative, have developed and honed my skills as a writer, an editor, a creative, a communicator, and a listener. If everyone spent more time listening we’d all have bigger hearts, clearer eyes, and more open minds. It’s the most underrated skill in our current climate. Okay, maybe listening and critical thinking.

When it comes to my own writing, my focus has primarily been creative nonfiction as I find writing from personal experience a great way to process the world around me. I have also written fiction, flash fiction, young adult fiction, and 10-minute plays. Hop on over to my blog to see what I’ve been working on recently.

I’m available for a variety of services including but not limited to copywriting, copyediting, proofreading, manuscript review and critique, workshop facilitation, seminar development, grant writing, résumé review, and college entrance essay review. Need something else? Want to collaborate on a project? Reach out, say hello. I’d love to hear from you.

When I’m not reading or writing, I enjoy playing the violin, taking photographs, growing vegetables, and enjoying all of the beauty New England has to offer.
